Prayer

I have had quite a few people ask me how to pray. . .
prayer is fascinating. To have the opportunity to communicate with the creator of the universe is one of most beautiful things in the world. There are many forms of communication. . . speech, written, art, music, to name a few.

here are a few verses on prayer
Job 22:27 - You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you; and you will pay your vows
Matthew 21:22 - And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
Acts 14:23 - And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they committed them to the Lord in whom they believed.
Romans 1:9 - For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers,
2 Corinthians 1:11 - You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us in answer to many prayers.
James 5:16 - Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.

prayer has so many uses. . .
when you are happy, share your joy with God
when you are sad, share your sorrows with God
when you are hurt, share your pain with God
when you are searching, share your thoughts with God
when you are tired, lay on his shoulder and sleep
when you are frustrated, vent to God
when you are in need, ask from God
when you are content, smile with God
when you are excited, share your plans with God
when you are sitting there going through your daily life, remember God is sitting with you

Prayer is communication,
take some time, as much as you and God need,
calm yourself and take some time to pray
