The Lord's Prayer

Interesting how this comes from two sources . .
Matthew 6:9-13
9"This, then, is how you should pray:
" 'Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us today our daily bread.
12Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

Luke 11:2-4
2He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation. "

so many topics this short and sweet prayer covers. break it down and you get praises to God, asking for substanace (in daily bread), forgivness, and help in times of trouble, so at least 4 main areas of covered in this short easily memorized prayer.

At college through some friends i have learned some new acronyms. . . here are a few
CIA Christians in Action, ASAP Always say a prayer, PUSH Pray Until something happens, and the ever popular FROG and WWJD
sometimes these little things help me with prayer, sometimes a tried and true traditional prayer like the Lord's prayer is what i'm looking for, sometimes i just need to chat.
Any other fun ones?
God Bless,
your sister in Christ~Erin
